Quick note about Saturday’s quarters

by pinella

If you take a look at the brackets and the matchups for Saturday, there is one obvious place to go to get the best bang for your buck – Santa Rosa High.

First, you will get to see Windsor go against Santa Rosa in a girls game at 5 p.m. and then the Santa Rosa boys team takes the field against Tamalpais.

And, yes, you could make it a triple-header if you attend the 2 p.m. Analy at Marin Catholic 2 p.m. boys contest. Would three games send you over the edge?

Then again, if you aren’t a true soccer junkie and want to see only one game it would have to be either a boys game – Elsie Allen at Terra Linda (7 p.m.); or a girls game – Petaluma at Maria Carrillo (7 p.m.)

Small schools I just might make it a Roseland Prep double-header. First the boys go against Branson at 2 p.m. at the College of Marin. Then the girls  face St. Vincent at 7 p.m. at Rancho Cotate.

But no matter where you go, just go and support the kids. This tournament is something they will never forget.

P.S. – If you are looking for Corner Kicks Predicts they will be here waiting for you on Saturday morning. Just like waiting for Santa Claus on Christmas morning, isn’t it? LOL

What happened to Sonoma? Woow what an upset and a huge surprise!!!
How about those kids at Casa coming up with a huge upset over Sir Francis Drake(wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the papers)…
Everyone thought that Casa was out of the running for NCS and so far they’ve proved those NCS ranking incorrect!!!

    MC 2 – Analy 0
    EA 1 – TL 2
    Tam 1 – SR 3
    Casa 2 – Windsor 1
