I think Landon should have kept his mouth shut. He claimed Beckham isn’t a good leader but what sort of leader is Landon being going public and criticizing his teammate?

I am glad Donovan spoke out about Beckham’s lack of respect for his teammates, the galaxy fans, and the MLS. Beckham is obviously not interested in playing in the MLS and is only interested in the money. The novelty of Beckham in the U.S. has wore off so the galaxy should get rid of him. If the MLS is going to be a great league it will need to train and recruit young American soccer talent in a similar way to the European teams who begin training players at a very early age. This would also help us build a stronger national team because there would be quality, well funded soccer programs throughout the U.S. For the time being, in my opinion, Donovan is the biggest star in the MLS, not Beckham.
